LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team remained undefeated with a 5-2 win over Weber State in the first of two matches Sunday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels improved to 9-0 on the year while the Wildcats fell to 6-5.
 
UNLV took the doubles point by winning on the top two courts. In singles play, a trio of Rebels won in straight sets to clinch the team match before the two sides played it out on all six courts.
 
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Alex Kobelt teamed with Jordan Sauer for a 6-4 win at the top of the doubles lineup and then breezed by Kris van Wyk, 6-2, 6-2, to improve to 5-0 in dual matches this season at the No. 1 position in the lineup.
