Senior Night Thursday Against Spartans

Four Lady Rebels to play their final home game in the Cox Pavilion.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -  With UNLV's seed in next week's Mountain West Tournament already set (fifth), that leaves the focus on Thursday's game solely on the four Lady Rebel seniors who will be playing their final home game in the Cox Pavilion on Senior Night at 6 pm against the San Jose State Spartans. The seniors Rodjanae Wade, Haley Rydalch, LaTecia Smith and Mara Kemmer. will all be recognized during a pre-game ceremony, while there is a post-game Senior Celebration that is open to all fans in the Thomas & Mack Board Road, with just a $5 charge.

Tickets for UNLV women's basketball are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and staff, while kids 17 and under are free at UNLV Lady Rebel contests. Tickets are also $3 off if bought online at UNLVRebels.com by the night before the game.

There will be a live video stream available on the Mountain West Network, with the link also available on UNLVRebels.com. Ben Wilson (play-by-play) and Amie Callaway (color analyst) will provide the call, while Wyatt Tomchek (play-by-play) and will handle the radio broadcast on UNLVRebels.com.

UNLV Game Notes

♦  Thursday's outcome can have a factor in who the Lady Rebels will play in next week's quarterfinals. If UNLV wins, they will play the Spartans once again, as they would drop to the fourth seed. If SJSU wins, and Wyoming loses at home to Fresno State, then UNLV would play Wyoming in the 4-5 matchup.
♦  Senior Rodjanae Wade is having a tremendous final season for the Lady Rebels, as she currently ranks first in the nation in offensive rebounding (5.2 rpg) and is third in double-doubles (19).
♦  UNLV is winning off defense, as the Lady Rebels are currently third in the MW in scoring defense, fourth in field goal percentage defense as well as No. 13 in the nation in three-point field goal defense. UNLV is also leading the league in rebound margin for the fifth straight season.
♦  The 2019-20 UNLV Lady Rebel squad are one of the youngest and least experienced teams in the Mountain West this season after graduating four senior starters. UNLV has 10 underclassmen on this year's squad, with seven freshmen and three sophomores, while the four-member senior class had a total of two career starts (as a Lady Rebel) entering the season.
