George Leigh Leads Rebel Individuals At Jackrabbit Invitational

Four UNLV men's golfers competing at tournament in Boulder City.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team has four individuals competing at the Jackrabbit Invitational, which is being played at Boulder City Golf Club (par 72, 7,402 yards).

Rebel freshman George Leigh turned in UNLV's best performance during Friday's first two rounds with a score of 7-under-par 137 and is in third place at the tournament. 

Oral Roberts' Dustin Hasley leads the 84-player field by four shots at 12-under 132. He fired a first-round-low 9-under 63. Texas State's Logan Lockwood is second at 8-under.

Leigh shot a first-round 6-under 66, which consisted of seven birdies and one bogey.

The three other UNLV players are all in the top 20: freshman Falko Hanisch is in fifth place at 4-under, sophomore David Rauch is tied for ninth at 2-under, and freshman Jack Kozlowski is tied for 18th at 1-over.

The final round is scheduled for Saturday.
