Leigh Finishes Third At Jackrabbit Invitational

Three UNLV men's golfers place among the top 10 at tournament in Boulder City.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team had four individuals compete at the Jackrabbit Invitational, which was played at Boulder City Golf Club (par 72, 7,402 yards) and concluded Saturday.

Rebel freshman George Leigh was UNLV's highest finisher, placing third at 7-under-par 209 after a final-round even-par 72. Two other Rebels finished among the top 10 as freshman Falko Hanisch tied for seventh at 1-under and sophomore David Rauch tied for ninth at even par.

Oral Roberts' Dustin Hasley earned medalist honors by four shots at 13-under 203. Texas State's Logan Lockwood finished second at 9-under.

UNLV freshman Jack Kozlowski tied for 29th at 7-over.

NEXT FOR UNLV: The Rebels will be back in action as a team, March 16-17, at the N.I.T. in Tucson, Arizona.
