TUCSON, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) - After a nearly 2.5-hour snow delay, second-round play at the Arizona Intercollegiate got underway amid cold and windy conditions with the UNLV men's golf team shooting 6-over-par 290 Tuesday at the season-opening Arizona Intercollegiate.
The event is being played at the Sewailo Golf Club (par 71, 7,292 yards).
Host Arizona remained in first place after 36 holes at 9-under 559 after a second-round 9-under 275. Wake Forest is second at 1-over, followed by New Mexico in third at 11-over, Oregon in fourth at 17-over and San Diego and San Francisco both tied for fifth at 20-over. The Rebels are tied for eighth at 24-over. There are a total of 17 teams competing.
Individually, Arizona's Brad Reeves continues to lead by two shots at 5-under 137 after a second-round 2-under 69. Trevor Werbylo of Arizona is in second place at 3-under, followed by Wake Forest's Michael Brennan, San Diego's Harrison Kingsley and Iowa State's Lachlan Barker in a three-way tie for third.

David Rauch shot the low round of the day for the Rebels with a 1-under 71. He leads all UNLV players at the event and is in 12th place at 1-over. Senior

George Leigh is tied for 89th at 16-over and fifth-year student-athlete
Justin Kim is tied for 92nd at 17-over.
