LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team won its 16th consecutive home match, 4-1, over Weber State as part of a Saturday doubleheader at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The Rebels, who downed Montana by the same score earlier in the day, improved their season record to 3-2 while the Wildcats fell to 2-2.
UNLV opened the match by taking the doubles point with wins on the top and bottom courts. In singles, all but one match was pushed to a third set but the Rebels won the entire top half of the lineup to clinch it.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Milos Dabic teamed with
Jordan Sauer for a win at No. 3 doubles and then became the only Rebel to win in straight sets in singles, 6-2, 6-2, over Sebastian Buxman on court three.
