FORT COLLINS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's tennis team closed out its road schedule with a 4-0 win over Colorado State Sunday afternoon.
The Rebels improved to 10-6 overall and 6-2 in the Mountain West while the Rams fell to 3-6 and 2-3.
UNLV opened the morning by taking the doubles point with wins on courts one and three.
In singles play, the visitors quickly earned a trio of straight-set wins – at courts 2, 5 and 6 -- to end things.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Aura Fang teamed with
Zita Kovacs for a 6-1 win in doubles on court three and then rolled past Anastasiia Kotsyuba, 6-3, 6-1, at the sixth position.
NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV will host undefeated San Jose State Friday starting at 10 a.m.
