COLLEGE STATION, Texas (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field team will be represented in a total of four events at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in two weeks. The Rebels'
Cassondra Hall,
Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete and the 4x100m relay qualified for the national meet after their respective quarterfinal performances at the NCAA West Preliminary at Texas A&M's E.B. Cushing Stadium Saturday.
Hall advanced in a pair of sprints, finishing seventh in the 100m (11.29) and eighth in the 200m (22.97), respectively. Prior to transferring to UNLV from Louisiana State for the 2019-20 campaign, she qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 100m in 2017 (16th place) and 2018 (11th).
Wilson-Perteete was fourth overall in the 800m (2:04.12), and will be making her third appearance at the national meet for the Scarlet & Gray. Previously, she finished third in 2019 and ninth in 2018.

DeAndra Greer and
Tianna Randle took ninth in a time of 44.40.

Jonon Young finished 25th in the triple jump (41-6.50/12.66m).

Jazlynn Shearer finished 20th in the 100m hurdles (13.85).
-In addition to the 800m, Wilson-Perteete ran the second leg of the 4x400m relay – alongside Amari Prude,
Taylor Shorter and
Alia Scott – which finished 21st (3:41.56).
-Love also competed in the 100m, posting a 15th-place finish (11.47).
NCAA PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: The NCAA's East and West Preliminaries served as the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championships. The top-12 event finishers from both preliminaries advanced to compete at the national meet in Eugene, Oregon, in two weeks (June 9-12).
