Rebels Named To All-American Accolades

The UNLV track & field program had two individual student-athletes, Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete and Cassondra Hall, as well as its 4x100m relay team recognized by the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) after their performances at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

With a seventh-place finish in the 800m final, Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete earned First Team All-America accolades, marking the third year that the native of Oakland, California, has attained Outdoor All-America status. She was a First Team All-American in 2019 (third place) and a Second Team selection in 2018 (ninth). 

Hall, a senior from Warner Robins, Georgia, claimed Second Team All-America Team status twice over with a ninth-place finish in the 200m final and a 16th-place showing in the 100m.

The 4x100m relay foursome of Nami Wilson, Kaysha Love, DeAndra Greer and Tianna Randle garnered Honorable Mention status after they took 21st in the event.
