LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball game at San Diego State, which was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18 has been postponed because of COVID-19-related concerns within the San Diego State men's basketball program.
In its place, the Runnin' Rebels will play at San Jose State on Monday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network. That game was originally scheduled to be played on Jan. 5, but was postponed because of COVID-19 issues in the Spartans program.
The Mountain West issued the following release on Wednesday:
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to COVID-19-related concerns within the San Diego State men's basketball program, the game between the Aztecs and UNLV, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18 in San Diego, California, has been postponed.
The Runnin' Rebels will now travel to San José State on Monday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network. UNLV and the Spartans were originally scheduled to play on Jan. 5.
