Rebels Kick Off Spring 2022 With New Signee

UNLV Volleyball signs a transfer setter from Washington State for the Spring 2022 semester

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV volleyball program signed a new student-athlete - Jenna Howard - who will enroll at the University beginning spring 2022, head coach Dawn Sullivan announced Wednesday.

Howard is a 5-10 setter out of Bothell, Washington, transferring from Washington State University. She graduated in spring 2020 from North Creek High School, where she lettered three years in a row for volleyball. Howard earned a name for herself during her three year career for the Jaguars, during her sophomore season she earned All-League Honorable Mention (Setter), her junior season she was named 4A All-League First Team (Setter/RS) and varsity team captain, she also led her team to a top 16 finish at state, as well as Kingco League Champions for the 2018-19 season. During her senior season, she earned 4A All-League First Team (Setter/RS), WSCA 4A All-State First Team Setter, was named varsity captain for the second consecutive year, led her team to a fifth place finish at state with a 20-5 record for the 2019-20 season and helped them earn both the West-King District Champion title and the Kingco Tournament Champion title.
