LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV's contingent is out of the main draw after Saturday's second day of action at the annual Freeman Memorial Championships being held at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
Individual competitors from Pepperdine, UCLA, Stanford, Florida and Oklahoma State joined the Rebels this weekend for the elite event.
 
Zita Kovacs lost her quarterfinal singles match to Oklahoma State's 86th-ranked Mananchaya Sawangkaew, 6-2 6-4. In doubles, Kovacs and partner Molly Helgesson also lost in the quarterfinals to Stanford's 38th-ranked Connie Ma and Angelica Blake, 6-2.
 
The doubles semifinals will start on Sunday at 10 a.m., with the final following. The singles crown will then be decided following doubles play.
 
Admission to all matches is free of charge.
