UNLV Women's Tennis Hosting ITA Regional This Week

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -- More than 120 women's collegiate tennis players are scheduled to compete this week (Oct. 12-16) at the 2022 Division One Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Championships to be held at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on the UNLV campus.
 
Members from 19 western teams will face off as individuals from Wednesday through Sunday on 12 courts each day in both singles and doubles.
 
More than 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete across 85 ITA Regional Championships around the country. In Division I, regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending ITA National Fall Championships.
 
Wednesday's first round gets under way with Round of 64 doubles at 9:00 a.m. PT followed by a full Round of 64 singles – with two flights. There will be consolation draws in singles to ensure each entrant at least two matches.
 
The finals are set for Sunday. Admission to all matches is free of charge.

Friday, Oct. 14 - Round of 16 and Quarterfinal Round doubles, Quarterfinal singles, Added Matches
Saturday, Oct. 15 - Semifinal doubles, Semifinal singles, Added Matches
Sunday, Oct. 16 - Doubles Final, Singles Final, Potential Added Matches
