LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — At least two UNLV women's basketball games will be televised to a national audience, the Mountain West Conference announced Wednesday.

The Lady Rebels' matchup with New Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 14, will air on FOX Sports 1 at 6 p.m. PT. Two days later the Boise State at UNLV game (Jan. 16) will be broadcast at 8 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

"We're thrilled to be showcased on this expansion of the Mountain West broadcast schedule," UNLV Head Coach Lindy La Rocque said. "I'm excited for the nation to see the Lady Rebels in prime time and expect our fans to come out in full force to show how much Vegas loves to be on center stage."

The Lady Rebels are predicted to repeat as the Mountain West Champions in 2022-23. UNLV's Desi-Rae Young was voted Preseason Player of the Year and joins teammate Essence Booker on the five-member Preseason All-Mountain West Team.

UNLV hosts two of the four regular-season women's basketball games slated for network broadcast. Air Force at New Mexico on Jan. 1 (CBSSN) and Colorado State at Wyoming on Feb. 25 (FS1) wrap the schedule. All other conference games will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network (TheMW.com/watch).

UNLV's non-conference broadcast schedule will be announced in the near future. All games will stream live with several televised locally on the Silver State Sports and Entertainment Network (KVVU 5.2 / Cox 125).

The conference also announced that the Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship Game would air on CBS Sports Network again in 2023. The Mountain West Championship will be hosted by UNLV at the Thomas & Mack Center March 5-8, 2023.

The Lady Rebels begin their 2022-23 campaign on Wednesday, Nov. 2, when they host Chico State in an exhibition game at Cox Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. The regular season begins Monday, Nov. 7, at home versus Pepperdine.
