FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's golf junior
Caden Fioroni recorded a final-round 2-under-par 70 on Wednesday to finish in third place at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational hosted by Arkansas at Blessings Golf Club (Par 72, 7,700 yards).
Fioroni, who placed inside the top 3 for the second straight tournament, landed within four shots of first place at 7-under 209 after 54 holes. Texas A&M's Daniel Rodrigues was the individual winner at 11-under 205, Ole Miss' Sarut Vongchaisit (-9) was the runner-up, the Aggies' Sam Bennet (-3) finished fourth and Kansas' Gunnar Broin (-2) finished fifth.

Yuki Moriyama also found himself among the top-25 finishers in a tie for 22nd at 6-over 222 for the three-day event. Finishing behind the Rebels' leaders were freshman
Inigo Izuzquiza (+19), sophomore

Ben Sawaia (+32).
As a team, UNLV tied for ninth with Cal at 39-over 903 for the event. Using the efforts of its individual champion, Texas A&M separated itself from the pack as the only squad to shoot at par or better at 11-under 853 for the tournament. Ole Miss (+9), the Razorbacks (+11), Clemson, and Mississippi State took second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
UP NEXT: The Rebels spring back into action next week in the territory of their rivals from up north, UNR, at the Wolf Pack Classic scheduled for Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 10-11.

- The Rebels competed among an 11-team field that featured golfers from seven programs ranked or receiving votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek top-25 rankings, including No. 9 Texas A&M, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Louisville, Kansas, Mississippi State and Clemson.
