SATURDAY'S PREVIEW...
UNLV (4-7/2-5) wraps up its 2022 season by hosting UNR (2-9/0-7) Saturday afternoon for Senior Day in the annual Battle for the Fremont Cannon ... The winner of the game will also earn three points in the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union ... The broadcast will be produced by the new Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network (SSSEN), which can be viewed on Cox channel 125 or over the air at 5.2 ... Fans can also watch the stream on the Mountain West Network ... The Rebels, who have doubled their victory total from the last two seasons combined, look to break a six-game losing skid after falling, 31-25, at Hawai'i on Saturday while the Wolf Pack has dropped nine straight after losing at home to Fresno State, 41-14 ... UNLV is attempting to win its final game of the season for just the third time in the last 13 years (2018, 2019) ... The Rebels have 25 sacks this fall from 11 different players. That is the most for the program since getting 27 in 2004 ... UNLV is also tied for 15th in the country with 13 interceptions, which is the most since the Rebels finished with the same number in 2015 ... 10 Super Seniors, along with a group of other seniors, will be playing their final game Saturday.

REBELS vs. WOLF PACK NOTES...
UNR holds a 28-19 lead in the series, including taking two straight ... UNLV will attempt to earn possession of the famed Fremont Cannon in a game staged in Las Vegas for only the sixth time (1974, 1987, 1994, 2000 & 2008) ... The 47 meetings, which include 33 straight years in a rivalry that permanently became an annual event in 1989, are by far the most UNLV has had with any opponent ... UNLV RBs coach/special teams coordinator Scott Baumgartner handled the Pack QBs in 2004 and the WRs from 2005-12.
