LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -- The UNLV men's tennis team picked up wins from one doubles team and four singles players in the first round, but only two wins in the quarterfinals on Friday at the annual Larry Easley Memorial Classic being played at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on campus. Duo Jackson Atherton and Anton Ornberg will compete in the quarterfinals on Nov. 4, facing off at 9 a.m. while sophomore Thomas Navarro and freshmen Eduardo Cohen and Dusan Rsovac will be competing in the semifinals singles.
Players from four other western programs are competing in the individual event. Opponents sending competitors are Utah, Grand Canyon, NAU and Idaho State.
Saturday's action starts at 9 a.m. Admission is free of charge.
