LUBBOCK, TX (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field team had three top-10 finishes during day one of the Texas Tech Shootout held at the Sports Performance Center on the campus of Texas Tech. UNLV is competing against 25 other teams, including BIG-12's Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor and BIG-10's Purdue. 

Emma Wahlenmaier took second in the women's 800m with a 2:10.72, only 0.16 seconds from first, Elisa Rovere finished fifth with a time of 2:12.13. Cassidy Osborne-Butler earned fourth in the women's weight throw with a personal best of 65-04.00 (19.91m) and Madelyn Wattles took 18th in the B Final with 46-04.00 (14.14m). 

DAY 2: The Rebels will continue the two-day competition at the Texas Tech Shootout for the remaining events Saturday, February 12 at 8 a.m. (PT). Live stats can be found here and live video can be found here.
