LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's tennis team closed out the weekend with a second consecutive shutout, 7-0 over Dixie State on Sunday morning at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels improved to 6-0 while the Trailblazers fell to 0-9.
 
UNLV took the first two completed doubles matches for a 1-0 lead and then did not lose even a set in making quick work of its opponent in singles play.
 
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Freshman CoCo Zhao teamed with Aura Fang to win 6-1 at No. 3 doubles and then blanked Jane Dorny, 6-0, 6-0, at the fifth position in singles play.
 
UP NEXT: UNLV hits the road for the first time this season with a match at national powerhouse Stanford on Saturday.
