COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) — UNLV senior Jenny Bressler has been selected the Mountain West Softball Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced today.

It's the second straight week, and third time this season, Bressler has taken the honor.

The Canton, Mich., native pitched her seventh complete-game no-hitter in a 6-0 series-opening win over Utah State. Then struck out 10 in Sunday's 2-1 rubber match victory. The defensive performance allowed the Rebels to capture the series and second place in the conference standings with nine games remaining. 

Bressler's two wins were the 67th and 68th of her collegiate career and moved her into fourth all-time for victories at UNLV.

Bressler has allowed just two runs over her last six appearances, pitching 48 strikeouts in 34 innings.

UNLV (32-11 overall, 10-5 Mountain West) travels to New Mexico for its three-game series in Albuquerque this weekend.
