LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Four UNLV women's tennis players earned honors Tuesday from the Mountain West as part the league's annual awards.
 
Molly Helgesson (Falkenberg, Sweden) and Zita Kovacs (Tarnamera, Hungary) earned spots on both the All-MW singles and doubles teams.
 
Helgesson played in the No. 1 singles position and is currently 12-13 on the season. Kovacs, who was last year's MW Co-Freshman of the Year, played No. 2 for the Rebels and leads the team with a 22-9 record, including 6-3 vs. league opponents.
 
The duo also played together in doubles and hold a 7-9 overall mark this spring.
 
Also earning All-MW doubles was Super Senior Izumi Asano (Kasugai, Japan) and her partner, freshman Cindy Hu (Guangzhou, China) who stand 11-4 overall, including 8-2 in MW action. While it's the first such honor for Hu, Asano earned her third doubles honor to go with four singles nods during her Rebel career.
