LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team will open play at the Mountain West Championship by facing Utah State in Friday's quarterfinal round.
 
The 2022 men's event, which is the first staged since 2019, is being hosted by Air Force on the academy's courts.
 
The Rebels, 12-14 overall and seeded seventh after ending 1-5 in the MW, look to avenge a 4-2 loss to the Aggies during the regular season on April 1 in Logan. The winner will move on to Saturday's semifinal vs. the winner of a match between New Mexico and Boise State. The championship match is scheduled for Noon on Saturday.
