LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's tennis team remained undefeated by gutting out a 4-3 win over UTSA on a gorgeous mid-February Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels improved to 5-0 while the Roadrunners fell to 6-4 overall.
 
The visitors took a 1-0 lead by winning the first two completed doubles matches.
 
In singles, UTSA took both of the top matches in the lineup for its three points while UNLV tied things with three straight-set wins from Salsa Aher, Cindy Hu and Coco Zhao.
 
The match would come down to court six where UNLV's Aura Fang and UTSA's Eve Beyebach split sets before the Rebel won it, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1.
 
REBEL OF THE MATCH: With all eyes on her court, Fang delivered with a dominant third set to clinch the victory and keep her team perfect in 2023.
 
UP NEXT: UNLV closes out the weekend by hosting Utah Tech on Sunday starting at 10 a.m. Admission to all home matches is free of charge.
