Rolling Rebels Return To Rankings

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Fresh from defeating three ranked opponents in one week for the first time in program history, UNLV women's tennis returned to the national rankings on Tuesday, coming in at No. 55.

The Rebels (14-3 overall) are ranked nationally by the ITA for the first time since finishing No. 52 in 2019. They downed No. 61 Colorado State, No. 42 San Diego State and No. 67 Fresno State last week – all away from home.

UNLV, which sits in a tie for second place in the Mountain West at 6-2, will close out its regular season by hosting a pair of league opponents this weekend. The Rebels are set to tangle with UNR on Friday starting at 1 p.m. as part of the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union. Fans in attendance for the in-state rivalry match can receive free Raising Cane's and a UNLV Tennis T-Shirt, while supplies last.

The Rebels will then hold Senior Day on Saturday as top player Molly Helgesson will be honored before the 1 p.m. match vs. San Jose State.

Admission to all matches at the Fertitta Tennis Complex is free of charge.
