LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -- The contract of UNLV men's tennis head coach Owen Hambrook will not be renewed, Director of Athletics Erick Harper announced Tuesday.
 
The Rebels finished 12-11 overall during the 2023 season. Hambrook has served as head men's tennis coach since 2004, compiling a career record of 264-205, including 54-62 in Mountain West play. His 2016 and 2007 teams won the conference tournament and played in the first round of the NCAA Championship.
 
"We would like to thank Coach Hambrook for his commitment to leading our tennis team over the last two decades," Harper said. "However, in evaluating the overall program, we have decided to move in a new direction." 
 
Hambrook's contract expires on June 30, 2023. A national search will begin immediately.
