Trevor Lewis each shot an even-par 72 in Tuesday's final round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate to finish in the top 25 at Southern Highlands Golf Club (Par 72, 7,510 yards).
The Rebel duo landed within a shot of each other as Lewis (70-75-72) tied for 18th at 1-over 217 and Moriyama (73-73-82) tied for 21st at 2-over 218 for the tournament. On the final day, Moriyama made an eagle on the fifth hole and a birdie, while Lewis sank four birdies.
No. 15 Oklahoma held onto its day-two lead to win the team title at 8-under 856. Florida's Ian Gilligan also earned individual medalist honors by an 8-under tally and received an exemption for the 2024 Shriners Children's Open at TPC Summerlin in October.
Closing out their competition for the Scarlet & Gray lineup, senior
Caden Fioroni (+6) tied for 43rd, sophomore
Wyatt Plattner (+8) tied for 56th and senior
Ben Sawaia (+16) tied for 75th. As individual competitors,
Billy Smith (+24),
Hogan Park (+25),
Inigo Izuzquiza (+28) and
Phillip Kench (+39) finished 80th through 83rd, respectively. As a team, the Rebels (+17) ended the three-day event in 13th place.
