LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The Rebels will return home to The Pavilion for a pair of conference matches against New Mexico on Thursday, October 16 at 6:30 p.m. before hosting San Diego State on Saturday, October 18 at 1 p.m. This will be the second straight week UNLV and SDSU will square off.

The Rebels take on the New Mexico Lopes for the annual Pink Game, along with Dig For A Cure Night. Additionally, the Scarlet & Gray's match against the San Diego State Aztecs will be the Military Appreciation Day. WHAT'S ON THE DOCKET
The UNLV volleyball team will head on the road where they will face Boise State on Thursday, October 23 at 5 p.m. PT, followed by Utah State on Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m. PT.
LAST TIME OUT
UNLV went 1-1 last week, falling in four sets at home to Grand Canyon and losing in straight sets at San Diego State. Against the Lopes,
Jaida Harris had a team-high 13 kills on three digs and one assist, while
Basia Latos (12 kills, three digs) and
Brooklynn Williams (10 kills, one block assist). Libero
Caleigh King posted 22 digs, while
Agata Makowska posted a career-high 25 assists along with six digs. Against the Aztecs, UNLV outhit SDSU by 172 points (.180 to .108), and had seven fewer errors (16-23).
Rheanna Deen-Jackson recorded seven block assists and one solo block along with six digs while hitting .455. King posted 11 digs to reach 818 career digs and is 22 digs away from joining the program's top ten career digs list.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
>New Mexico: The Lobos are 0-6 in MW action and fell to San Diego State in four sets last week, along with losing to Grand Canyon in straight sets. Against the Aztecs, Lauryn Payne led the way with a season-high 16 kills and recorded her second double-double of the season with 11 digs, while freshman Addison France notched her third double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 assists. Camila Canedo surpassed 20 digs for the second match in a row with a team-high 23 and has now eclipsed 20 digs six times. Against the Lopes, Madeleine Miller paced the offense with 22 assists while adding six digs, two kills, and three total blocks, Canedo anchored the back row with a match-high 17 digs and a pair of aces. France leads the team with 182 kills, while Miller tops the charts at 8.48 assists per set (560 total). On defense, Canedo (274 digs, 4.15/set) and Amber Keen (47 blocks, 1.04/set) lead the Lopes in their respective categories.
>San Diego State: SDSU is bringing their momentum to Sin City by going 2-0 last week, beating UNM in four sets and sweeping the Scarlet & Gray. Against the Lopes, Taylor Underwood tied for match-high honors with 16 kills, while Madison Corf blasted 11 put-aways of her own, followed by Natalie Hughes' 10 terminations. Additionally, Mila Gehlen and Ella Schabort came through in the clutch with five kills apiece off the bench. The Aztecs' 73 digs marked a season best, led by Zara Stewart, who collected a career-high 26 scoops. Against the Rebels, Underwood was the lone Aztec player to reach double digits in kills, tying for match-high honors with 10 put-aways, while Madison Corf launched six non-returnables of her own. SDSU's 6-0 record in the MW marks its best start to a conference schedule since 1995. Underwood leads the team with 216 kills (3.60 kills/set), while Kendall Mairs tops the charts at 5.24 assists per set (351 total). On defense, Zara Stewart (252 digs, 3.76/set) and Amber Keen (73 blocks, 1.16/set) lead the Aztecs in their respective categories.
2025 SCHEDULE
The UNLV volleyball program will play a total of 28 regular-season matches during the 2025 campaign, with 14 of those taking place inside the friendly confines of the Cox Pavilion. The fall slate, the third under head coach Malia Shoji, will feature 18 contests against Mountain West foes as well as 10 more versus nonconference competition.
