LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV Athletics had a record 80 student-athletes recognized on the Fall 2024 Academic All-Mountain West Team, the conference announced Thursday. This surpasses the previous non-COVID year record of 73 honorees for the Fall 2023 semester and marks the fourth straight year the Rebels have had 70 or more honorees for the fall term.

Football's department-wide best 40 student-athletes honored set a new program record and women's soccer matched its record with 21 student-athletes on the list. Rounding out the Rebels' team representation were volleyball with 13 honorees and cross country with six honorees.

Overall, a conference-record 853 student-athletes were named to the Fall 2024 Academic All-MW Team.

To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MW Team, student-athletes must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, while competing in 50 percent of their team's completed contests.
