Zach Little landed top-16 individual finishes as the UNLV men's golf team wrapped up play at Missouri's Tiger Intercollegiate in seventh Tuesday at The Club at Old Hawthorne (par 70, 7,158 yards).
REBEL ROUNDUP: Sawaia (+3) tied for eighth after following up his second-round 1-under 69 with a final-round 2-under 68 and Little (+5) tied for 16th. Rounding out the Rebel lineup, junior
Wyatt Plattner (+8) tied for 35th, senior
Trevor Lewis (+10) tied for 44th and senior
Ben Sawaia (+15) tied for 70th. As an individual competitor, sophomore
Dillon Dean (+14) tied for 68th.
TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS: The host Tigers claimed the team title at even-par 840 for the tournament. Mizzou's Mattias Varjun also came away with individual medalist honors at 4-under 206.
UP NEXT: The Scarlet & Gray will complete their regular season slate in Santa Cruz, California, at the Western Intercollegiate being hosted by San Jose State from April 14-16. The event will be broadcast on the Golf Channel.
