LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels will head back on the road for the next Mountain West midweek contest visiting New Mexico on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. PT/7 p.m MT. This marks the second meeting this season between the two programs.
ABOUT NEW MEXICO: UNLV holds the overall series 45-28 against New Mexico. The Lady Rebels earned an 89-71 victory in the first meeting this season on Dec. 20, 2025. In the
Lindy La Rocque era, the Scarlet & Gray are 8-3 against the Lobos, having a 5-2 record in Las Vegas and a 3-1 record in Albuquerque. New Mexico heads into Wednesday's contest with a 13-7 overall record and a 5-4 MW record. The Lobos are coming off a 74-57 victory over Air Force. New Mexico has two players in scoring in double-digits with Destinee Hooks with 13.9 points per game, while Cacia Antonio has 10.1 points per game, respectively. Jessie Joaquim leads the Lobos in rebounds with 6.3 per game.

Shelbee Brown's 15 points while having a team-high three steals.
Meadow Roland picked up her seventh double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds, which five were huge offensive boards.
Aaliyah Alexander had 10 points and was tied for the team-lead in assists with two.
SQUAD LEADERS: Meadow Roland leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 13.5 and she is the second-leading rebounder bringing down 9.0 boards per game.
Jasmyn Lott is second on the team with 12.8 points per game and in made field goals with 4.9 per game.
Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 3.2. Alexander is also fourth on the squad, averaging 10.6 points per game.
Shelbee Brown leads the squad in rebounds with 9.7 per game and is third in points per game with 11.0.
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV's wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in
