LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — UNLV women's soccer sophomore midfielder Ana De Los Santos earned Mountain West Player of the Week, while forward Tatum Jackson was tabbed the Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday. These mark the first weekly honors for both student-athletes, while it's the third different week this season a Rebel has received recognition.
The duo guided the Rebels to a 5-1 win over in-state rival UNR, bringing home a victory in the Silver State Series for the second straight season and fourth time in five years. Collectively, they helped the Scarlet & Gray finish with their season-high goal tally and its highest scoring output in a match since 2018.
Originally from Los Angeles, De Los Santos recorded her first career hat trick, becoming the ninth player in program history to do so and second this season. She finished the contest against the team up north with a career-high six points, scoring in the 28th, 52nd and 82nd minutes to give her four scores during the 2026 campaign.
Coming out of Redmond, Washington, Jackson posted a season-high three points with a goal and an assist vs. the Wolf Pack. The rookie assisted on De Los Santos' second goal and then added her second goal of the season in the 78th minute.
UP NEXT: The Scarlet & Gray will make the trip to Hawai'i for its final road match of the regular season Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m. PT.
