In a key battle of teams unbeaten in Mountain West play, UNLV (3-2/1-0) hosts (RV/RV) North Dakota State (5-0/2-0) Saturday afternoon on The CW in what will be the first-ever meeting of the programs ... The Rebels are 28-29 all-time in Homecoming games, including last year's 51-48 thrilling win over Air Force ... UNLV comes in having won four straight MW home openers ... Both of these teams posted home wins last weekend as UNLV downed Cal 39-31 and NDSU shut out Wyoming 28-0 ... The Rebels' victory over the Golden Bears closed out the 2026 non-conference slate and upped their record to 13-4 vs. non-MW opponents since the start of the 2023 season ... The Rebels are 6-2 at home under second-year head coach Dan Mullen and have won 16 of their last 22 at Allegiant Stadium dating back to the final game of 2022 ... UNLV is tied for 14th in the nation for the most wins (24) in the FBS since the start of 2024 ... With the victory over Cal out of the ACC, UNLV has now won four straight and seven of its last nine games against teams who hailed from power conferences at the time of the meeting. Among teams that are members of a conference, the Rebels are tied with Miami for the most wins (six) vs. teams from a power conference at the time of the game since the start of '24  ... Rebel QB Jackson Arnold was named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week after a five-TD performance (three passing, two rushing) against Cal. The transfer from Auburn now leads the league with 13 total TDs responsible for, ranks second in both pass efficiency and passing TDs (8), third in rushing TDs (5), third in passing (212.6 YPG) and ninth in rushing (54.4 YPG).

REBELS vs. BISON NOTES...
North Dakota State is the second of two teams UNLV will face this season for the first time, following a first-ever meeting with Memphis to kick off 2026 on Aug. 29 ... The last time UNLV played a league game vs. a team it had never before faced was 1996 when it traveled to TCU during the Rebels' first year in the Western Athletic Conference after exiting the Big West Conference ... NDSU is scheduled to return to Allegiant Stadium in 2027 to face Montana State during Labor Day Weekend as part of ESPN's Kickoff Classic series ... UNLV and NDSU have met once in men's basketball as Jerry Tarkanian's Runnin' Rebels won 112-81 at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Dec. 17, 1976, during a season that would mark the first of the school's four Final Four trips.
