LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV student-athletes posted a record 17th consecutive semester with a 3.0 grade point average or higher, the Athletics Department announced Wednesday.
The department achieved records with a 3.39 cumulative GPA and a 3.39 semester GPA following the Fall 2025 semester.
Overall, five sports set program-specific records for cumulative GPA after the Fall 2025 semester, including football (3.23), men's basketball (3.35), women's golf (3.65), men's swimming & diving (3.40), and women's swimming & diving (3.58).
Additionally, the softball (3.59) and men's swimming & diving (3.46) programs each set new semester GPA records.
208 UNLV student-athletes earned Dean's Honor List recognition for Fall 2025. Students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher to be on the Dean's Honor List.

Other academic highlights for the department include:
- 76.4% (379 of 496) of UNLV student-athletes had a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher for Fall 2025, and 78.2% (388 of 496) had a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Women's golf led the department in both semester (3.65) and cumulative (3.67) GPA after Fall 2025.
- 29 UNLV student-athletes took part in Winter Commencement.
