LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's golf team will hit the islands this week in Lihue, Kaua'i, Hawai'i when it plays at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate being hosted by Hawai'i from Thursday-Saturday at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala (par 70, 7,098 yards).
THE FIELD: The Rebels will play among a 19-team field that includes host Hawai'i and three top-25 ranked squads, including No. 19 New Mexico, No. 22 San Diego State and No. 23 Utah. Also scheduled to compete at the three-day event are BYU, Cal, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Miami (Ohio), Missouri, St. Mary's, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Texas A&M, UTEP and Washington State.
UNLV LINEUP: Representing the Scarlet & Gray will be junior
Ryan Abuan, senior
Trevor Lewis, junior
Zach Little, senior
Wyatt Plattner and junior
Mason Snyder. Senior
Billy Smith will compete as an individual at the tournament.
SCHEDULE: The 54-hole event includes 18-hole rounds each day, with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. PT/9 a.m. HT.
