POCATELLO, Idaho (UNLVRebels.com) – A pair of unanswered goals late in the second half helped UNLV women's soccer (1-3-1) earn a 3-3 draw against Idaho State (1-1-2) Thursday night at Davis Field.
After trailing the Bengals 3-1 in the first half, the Rebels clawed back into the match with penalty kick goals from fifth-year forward
Kaitlin Taylor in the 75th minute and junior midfielder
Summer Pyles in the 85 minute.
In the first half, sophomore forward
Julia Salem got the Scarlet & Gray on the board with her goal that Taylor assisted on in the 10th minute. With the goal and assist, Taylor ended the night with a season-high three points.
STAT OF THE GAME: The three goals marked a season high for the Rebel attack in a match. Additionally, the two second-half scores were the squad's most in any half this season.
QUOTABLE: "We conceded some errors early in the first half that were disappointing. We had to regroup and refocus at halftime. The team responded well to the challenge. We grew a lot tonight and had our resilience tested. As a young team we need to learn these lessons and continue to grow."

NOTES:
- With nine shots in the contest, the Rebels recorded at least six total shots for the fifth straight match.
- All three goalkeepers shared duties in net as starting goalkeeper Riley Hodson was backed up by both freshman Brooke Kramer and junior Ava Droze.
- The final outcome was the Rebels' first draw of the year.
