Rebels Face UC Irvine For Final Non-Conference Road Match

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — UNLV men's soccer will close out the road portion of the non-conference schedule with a 6 p.m. match on Sunday against UC Irvine at Anteater Field

The Rebels (3-2-1) have earned results in their last two matches, including a draw at UC Riverside and home win over UC San Diego. They face an Anteater squad (2-2-1) coming off close losses against nationally ranked No. 9 San Diego and No. 19 Missouri State.

Additionally, the contest is part of the Scarlet & Gray's tough non-conference slate featuring three opponents that have been ranked in the top 25 nationally and made NCAA Tournament appearances over the past three years.

  • The 2026 campaign marks head coach BJ Craig's fifth season at the helm of the Rebel men's soccer program. It is also the program's inaugural season as a member of the Mountain West after previously playing in the WAC as an affiliate member.
