LAS VEGAS - Nina Puikkonen had a match-high 19 kills and Caroline Bower had a match-high 19 digs to lead No. 10 Brigham Young past UNLV 16-14, 15-12, 15-6, in a Mountain West Conference volleyball match at Thomas & Mack Center Saturday.

BYU (21-3, 10-1 MWC) was assisted in the win by Sunny Tonga's 12 kills, while Jackie Bundy had 11. Puikkonen added 11 block assists, while Bundy had 9.

UNLV (9-12, 1-9 MWC) was led by Jeanette Graves' 18 kills. Angie Sylvas added 17 kills, while Christel Eves led the team in digs with 11. Justine Kamelamela led the team in block assists with 4.

UNLV will be back in action on Thursday, Nov. 11 at Colorado State at 7:00 p.m. MST.
