LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's golf team finished the 2006-07 year ranked 10th in the country in the season's final edition of the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index Ratings, which appeared Monday on Golfweek's website.
Georgia finished in the top spot in the ratings, followed by this year's NCAA champion Stanford. Lamar was third, Alabama was fourth and Oklahoma State rounded out the top five.
Florida was sixth, followed by USC, UCLA, Georgia Tech and UNLV.
Individually, junior Jarred Texter was rated 39th in the country by the ratings, while teammate sophomore Seung-Su Han was 73rd.
UNLV's season ended this year at the NCAA West Regional where the team tied for 16th.
