LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's soccer team qualified for the NSCAA Team Academic Award, it was announced this week by the organization.

To be eligible for the award, a team must have a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and the Rebels posted a 3.29. That was the third-highest mark among Mountain West schools.

Four Rebels were also honored last month with CoSIDA Academic All-District honors, as Jenn Wolfe and Caitlin Allen were second-team selections, while Kylie Wassell and Courtney Botelho were not only first-team honorees, they were also placed on the national ballot. The Academic All-American teams will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 29.
