UNLV will open the trek with a stop in Albuquerque against the New Mexico Lobos on Nov. 6 (6:00 pm MT/5:00 pm PT). Following the UNM match, the Rebels will head north to Colorado Springs to square off against Air Force (5:00 pm/4:00 pm).

A FIRST FOR EVERYTHING: The month of October has witnessed Daryn Glenn move up in UNLV's career record book and eventually become the first Rebel in program history to crack both the 1,000-kill and 1,000-dig barriers.

Prior to the start of the 2014 campaign, the Corona, Calif., native sat eighth overall in career digs with 839, while her 785 kills were well outside the top 10 in that category.

As she slowly chipped away at both figures, Glenn was able to become the fourth Rebel to register her 1,000th dig with her sixth tally on the road at Wyoming on Oct. 4.

Six matches and 19 days later, she notched her 1,000th kill in UNLV's 3-1, come-from-behind win at Fresno State (Oct. 25). She achieved the feat with her fifth kill of the match, which came during the second set to become the sixth to don the Scarlet & Gray with 1,000 kills.

Dating back to 1999, which was the first year that the Mountain West has sponsored the sport of volleyball, Glenn is the seventh student-athlete in conference history with 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.

OFF TO A ROUSING START & KEEPING IT GOING: The UNLV Rebels had equaled the best start in program history through 16 matches until they suffered a pair of road losses to #7 Colorado State and Wyoming. The 2014 edition stood toe-to-toe with the 2007 Mountain West Championship squad prior to the setbacks.

UNLV sits 19-5, which equates to the second-best display through 24 matches. That mark is nestled between the 22-3 and 18-6 efforts by the 2007 and 1998 teams, respectively. The 19 W's are also the fifth-most in program history, and they trail 2007's 24; 1984's & 1998's 23; and 2006's 20.

After starting the season 2-2 through the first two days of their own tournament, the Rebels rattled off 17 more wins in 20 matches. The victorious run began with a sweep of UC Riverside on Aug. 31, which was followed by an 8-1 stretch in a trio of tournaments played in three different time zones.

The Scarlet & Gray pushed the winning trend to 11 wins in 12 tries with home W's over Southern Utah and Fresno State. That string of 11 victories were from a pair of winning streaks that numbered five and six matches.

Those previously mentioned losses along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains put a halt to the six-match winning streak, but they didn't hinder the Rebels for long. The team has strung together another winning stretch of with victories over Air Force, New Mexico, San José State, Nevada, Reno, San Diego State and Fresno State to put six more notches in the left-hand column.

19 & UP CLUB: The UNLV Rebels are one of 20 volleyball programs in NCAA Division I to have cracked the 19-win barrier. UNLV, who sits at 19-5 on the year, and #7 Colorado State (22-1) are the only Mountain West squads to earn passage into the small, but highly distinguished club.

CSU, Liberty (22-5) and Western Kentucky (22-5) - a team that UNLV swept in Las Vegas the opening week of the season - all have 22 victories.

The Rebels have squared off against three more from the list with losses to CSU and Washington (21-0) and a victory over Seton Hall (19-6). All three of these matches occurred on the road. Both CSU and UW have been ranked seventh or higher since they faced UNLV. CSU sits seventh overall, while UW is second in the nation.

The remaining 15 teams are #1 Stanford (20-0), #3 Florida State (21-0), #6 Penn State (20-3), #22 Kansas State (19-3), Towson (21-3), Dayton (21-5), Hofstra (21-3), UT-Arlington (20-5), UMKC (20-3), Arkansas-Little Rock (19-4), Denver (19-4), Marist (19-3), Valparaiso (19-6) and North Dakota (19-8).
