LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV volleyball team will play in one home and one away tournament this spring as well as host one match against Hillsdale College. All three dates will take place in nearly a one-month time frame between March 17 and April 22.

The Scarlet & Gray will kick off action in a contest against the Hillsdale Chargers, a NCAA Division II program that’s located in Hillsdale, Michigan, on March 17.

UNLV will play host to its own home tournament on April 8, with the likes of Arizona, Dixie State and Northern Arizona in attendance.

On April 22, the Rebels will head to Orange County, California, for a tourney hosted by UC Irvine.

UNLV is coming off a season that witnessed the team win 24 matches and earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament and a first round, 3-1 victory over then-No. 22 Utah.

Additionally, the 2016 edition finished the season receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s Division I Top 25 Poll. The team’s seven-point haul placed it nine spots outside of the top 25 at No. 34. Senior Bree Hammel was also recognized by the AVCA as an Honorable Mention addition to its All-Pacific South Region Team.
