LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Volleyball, which has played seven of its first 10 matches at home this season, begins a five-match road swing this weekend at the Hoosier Classic in Bloomington, Indiana. The two-day tournament will take place at Indiana's University Gym and feature Florida Gulf Coast and Samford as well as UNLV and IU.

The Scarlet & Gray opens tourney play Friday against Indiana (4:00 pm PT/7:00 pm ET), a match that will be streamed live on the Big Ten Network's subscription-based BTN Plus. The Rebels return to the court Saturday for contests against FGCU and Samford at 7:00 am PT and 2:00 pm PT.

This weekend's foes sport a combined 17-12 overall record. IU, which was picked to finish 13th in the Big Ten, leads the trio with a perfect 9-0 mark. FGCU is 5-4 on the year, and it was picked to finish second in the Atlantic Sun. Samford is 3-8, and it was tabbed to finish the season tied for third in the Southern Conference.

The Scarlet & Gray carries a 3-4 mark into the third weekend of the season, with a 3-1 record in matches played at home. The Rebels will play twice Friday with a 10:00 am affair against Weber State followed by a 7:00 pm contest against UC Irvine. They host Louisville in the tourney finale Saturday at 2:00 pm.

HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORDS: UNLV Volleyball has a 2-0 overall record against this weekend's Hoosier Classic competition. The Rebels are 1-0 against both Indiana (3-0/Nov. 2, 1985 in Tucson, Arizona) and Florida Gulf Coast (3-2/Sept. 4, 2010 in Corvallis, Oregon). The Scarlet & Gray has never faced Samford before.

TUNE IN, WATCH & LISTEN: Fans can follow all three of UNLV's matches at the Hoosier Classic this weekend via live stats; however, Friday's contest against Indiana will be streamed live by the Big Ten Network (BTN Plus) and it will also have a live audio feed.

ON THE SIDELINE: UNLV Volleyball stays on the road to open Mountain West play next week. The Rebels will head to the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains for contests against Wyoming (Thursday, September 21) and No. 22 Colorado State (Saturday, September 23) in Laramie, Wyoming, and Fort Collins, Colorado, respectively.

REBELS RETURN HOME: After its trip to Indiana as well as Mountain West stops in Laramie, Wyoming, and Fort Collins, Colorado, UNLV will open its portion of conference play at the Cox Pavilion on September 28 against Utah State (6:00 pm). The Rebels will host Boise State two days later (September 30)/3:00 pm).
