LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's tennis team blanked Youngstown State 4-0 in the first of two matches Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The hosts took both completed doubles matches and then swept singles play as the Rebels improved to 4-3 and the Penguins fell to 0-6.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Jovana Kenic appeared in the singles lineup for a dual match for the first time this season and whitewashed Lucia Zagar on court six, 6-0, 6-0.
STAT OF THE MATCH: UNLV did not lose even a set vs. YSU as it won the first set on all unfinished singles matches.
NEXT FOR THE REBELS: After facing UC Riverside later Saturday, UNLV will play a Mountain West opponent for the first time this season when it hosts Colorado State Sunday starting with doubles play at 10 a.m. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
