SATURDAY'S PREVIEW...
Still looking to earn its first Mountain West victory of the season, UNLV (2-6/0-4) travels to Colorado State (3-5/2-2) and visits Canvas Stadium for the first time ... This will mark the Rebels fifth road game in their last seven outings ... Last Saturday UNLV dropped a heartbreaking 20-17 game at home to San Diego State while the Rams went on the road to upset Fresno State 41-31 ... UNLV junior quarterback Armani Rogers has not played in the last 22 quarters after getting knocked out of the game at Wyoming. That was the same game he became his school's career leader and moved into 10th place on the Mountain West all-time list for rushing yards by a quarterback with 1,549 ... Redshirt freshman signal-caller and local product Kenyon Oblad has spelled Rogers ever since and now, after earning his first career victory at Vanderbilt, leads the team with 1,291 passing yards and has become just the fourth UNLV quarterback to throw at least two touchdowns in four consecutive games ... With his 113 yards rushing vs. the Aztecs, junior running back Charles Williams took over the conference lead and is ranked 19th in the nation with 793 net yards ... Including a career-high 168 vs. Arkansas State in Week Two, the "Chuck Wagon" also leads all MW players with four 100-yard games on the ground in 2019 ... Linebacker Javin White has two of UNLV's three interceptions this season and his eight career picks ties him for seventh in the nation among active FBS players. White's also tied for seventh nationally with seven career forced fumbles.

REBELS vs. RAMS NOTES...
CSU leads the all-time series 16-6-1 and has won six straight at home against the Rebels ... However, four of UNLV's wins vs. the Rams have come in Fort Collins ... Since the advent of the Mountain West Conference, six of the 16 games between these two have been decided by four points or less ... There are no current Rams from the Silver State but UNLV has one player on its roster from the Centennial State: offensive lineman Garrett Beckman, who signed this year with the Rebels out of Greeley West High School ... Two current UNLV coaches worked in Fort Collins from 2012-14: second-year defensive coordinator Tim Skipper served as assistant head coach/linebackers for the Rams while second-year safeties coach Al Simmons was co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach on the same staff under former head coach Jim McElwain.
