LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team completed a perfect Friday with another 4-0 win at the Fertitta Tennis Complex, this time over UC Riverside.
The Rebels, who downed New Mexico State earlier in the day by the same score, improved to 2-0 on the young season while the Highlanders fell to 4-4 overall.
UNLV won the first two completed doubles matches for a 1-0 lead and then posted a trio of straight-set singles outings to clinch it.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Alex Kobelt teamed with
Jordan Sauer for a 6-1 win at the top doubles position and then cruised by Gilbert Chung at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-2.

NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV will stage another doubleheader Saturday by taking on Pacific at 10 a.m. and then Hawai'i at 2 p.m. Admission to all matches are free of charge.
