LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross-country team will compete at the NCAA West Regional on Friday, November 12 at 10 a.m. in Sacramento, California.

The team will face top-ranked teams and is looking to turn in its best performance of the season.

Nationals hopeful, Natalia Lara Ruiz, has had a standout season, and LaKyla Yazzie will challenge herself as she is also vying for a Nationals berth as well. Team depth is at an all-time high with nine runners within a 2:30 minute spread (UCR).

The team has made huge strides this season placing fourth, first, fourth, 15th, fourth, before finishing 10th at the Mountain West Championship in Albuquerque, N.M. Every meet has represented a dramatic improvement in comparison to all-time statistics.
