LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Athletics has announced a new initiative for community organizations in Southern Nevada, providing an opportunity to attend Runnin' Rebel basketball games at no charge.

Dubbed "Kruger's Krew," chosen community groups will be invited as special guests of the UNLV men's basketball program and head coach Kevin Kruger. 

"There are so many important local organizations that make a difference here in our community and we want to recognize those groups by inviting them to a UNLV men's basketball game at the Thomas & Mack Center," Kruger said. "We look forward to inviting deserving members to enjoy a game as part of this initiative to show our support for the work they do in making Las Vegas such a great place to live."

The 2021-22 season marks the first for head coach Kevin Kruger leading the program. The team has a revamped roster with nine transfers, including four from the Big 12. The Runnin' Rebels will open the campaign Nov. 10 against Gardner-Webb at the Thomas & Mack Center.
