LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV returns to action Friday afternoon at the Battle Born Collegiate Cross Country Challenge at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. The Challenge, which is hosted by USA Track & Field – Nevada's Cross Country series, is slated to begin at 10:00 am with the first of four total races – two men's 8k and two women's 6k. The Rebels; however, will not take to the course until the meet's finale at 12:15 pm.
In all, 17 NCAA Division I universities and one NAIA program will be represented in Friday's race, including seven squads from the Mountain West – Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico, UNR, Utah State, Wyoming and UNLV. Cal Baptist, Colorado, Dixie State, Embry-Riddle Arizona, Northern Arizona, Southern Utah, Stanford, Utah, Utah Valley, Washington and Washington State are entered in the one-day meet, as well.
