QUOTEABLE: "Today didn't play out to the level of fitness these Rebels are at, not at the competitiveness they could have had against the field today, and for that, many were frustrated. They are eager to translate the hard work they've been doing into their outdoor track season, and that they have more opportunities upcoming to practice showing up the way both they and I know they can. I'm proud of the adversities they've battled through during the pandemic and the resiliency they've shown through those changes, and believe in each athlete on this squad very much. There's so much more in this distance squad than today's marks show, and I now I need to step up to the plate stronger to extract that out of them on meet day." – UNLV cross country coach
