LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Three members of the UNLV men's tennis team were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes for 2022 as part of a slew of academic awards handed out this week.
 
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must be a letterwinner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters. Earning that standing this year were juniors Tom Ciszewksi and Zach Garner along with freshman Thomas Navarro.
 
That same trio was also announced this week as 2022 Mountain West Scholar-Athletes, which goes to those with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better.
 
They were joined by four teammates on the just-announced 2022 Academic All-Mountain West Team, which featured seven Rebels overall who have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Joining the aforementioned trio was Zac Brodney, Christopher Bulus, Jack Hambrook and Jordan Sauer.
